[2021.12.16, Taipei] SinoPac Holdings, with its long-standing philosophy of "local cultivation", joined hands with Golden Melody King, Hsieh Ming-Yu, and the Pun Car Band to hold a public service concert for the elderly throughout Taiwan—"Your Concert", accompanying the elderly to reminisce their youthful days. This time, the core concept of the concert was extended to launch the "Song of Life Co-creation Action". Through community theater workshops, the elderly were guided to share their memories. The "Song of Life" was written by Hsieh Ming-Yu himself and took him three years to finish. Sung by an amateur singer, the first album, "Another Time", records the development of the Taiwanese community and fulfills the dreams of the elderly.

Mr. Stanley Chu, President of SinoPac Holdings, said that promoting cultural equality is a part of SinoPac's corporate social responsibility. SinoPac and Hsieh Ming-Yu held the "Your Concert", a charity concert for the elderly, to sing the songs the elderly sang when they were once young. At the same time, to deepen the impact of the action, we used music to record the stories of this silent and hardworking generation, composing them into the "Song of Life" album. It is a way for the elderly living in remote areas to fulfill their dream of recording songs and allowing them to show their diverse talents. It also allowed the seniors to own and enjoy the arts regardless of gender, age, wealth, or race.

Since 2018, SinoPac Holdings has teamed up with Hsieh Ming-Yu, the Pun Car Band, and the South Wind Studio, who all uphold the same values, to hold a public service concert for the elderly, "Your Concert", to show our appreciation and care to the elderly who have dedicated their lives to this land. For the past four years, SinoPac has held 24 "Your Concerts" and visited 20 communities throughout Taiwan. This year (2021), during the pandemic, the team even used online live streaming to broadcast old songs, which received a great response from the elderly and netizens.

Since 2019, with the full support of SinoPac, Hsieh Ming-Yu has extended the core concept of "Your Concert" to the "Song of Life Co-creation Action". Under the guidance of professional teachers, the elders shared their past experiences and further explored the stories of their life experiences. Then, through music, Hsieh Ming-Yu and the seniors created their own songs of life, and through the music, they celebrated the stories that tell the sorrows and sweetness of life, passing on a record of the value of life in Taiwan. The album "Another Time" is sung by an amateur singer and tells the stories of six communities across Taiwan, becoming the first musical composition to document the development of Taiwanese communities with pop music.

This album was created on behalf of the elders in six communities, including the Jietoufen community in Yuanshan, Yilan, the Kuokang community in Nuannuan, Keelung, the Shigang district in Taichung, the Jingliao community in Houbi, Tainan, the Longshan community in Chigu, Tainan, and the Manzhou area in Pingtung. The elders from each community and SinoPac volunteers interpreted these songs together. A senior from the Kuokang community in Nuannuan, Keelung, said that they could not believe they could record an album, not to mention become the main characters. They shared that the song "Strolling Past our Harbor" tells their stories and that they can sing it wherever they go. They thanked SinoPac for fulfilling their dreams.

There will be two more performances of "Your Concert" before the end of this year. They will take place at the Wen-yuan Old Tree Education Park in Puli, Nantou, on December 19 at 3:00 p.m. and at the front plaza of Fu-Hai Temple in Ta-Yuan, Taoyuan on December 25 at 2:30 p.m.
