In order to implement human rights protection and effectively manage human rights risks, SinoPac Holdings reviewed and optimized the policy scope in response to the global human rights trend, and carried out human rights due diligence in accordance with the "Human Rights Policy", while cross- comparing cases of violations of human rights-related laws and regulations in various industrial environments in Taiwan and human rights incidents and complaints of labor condition protection and forced labor occurred during the operation of SinoPac Holdings. In this way, corresponding mitigation and remedial measures are formulated, strategies for optimizing the human rights management structure are proposed, and the suitability of mitigation measures is continuously reviewed.   • Mitigation and Remedial Measures

SinoPac Holdings' human rights risk mitigation and remediation measures are designed for all 214 sites of SinoPac Holdings and subsidiaries. In the event of a violation of human rights, the Company established the Personnel Review Committee for employees to review the compliance of related regulations, formulate related measures. For suppliers, the Company requires suppliers not to violate human rights by means of regular supplier conferences and increasing the signing rate of the Supplier Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment. In terms of business operations, the Company reviews the compliance with human rights elements during the investment/credit evaluation.

  • Incidents of Human Rights Violations and Responding Actions

SinoPac Holdings regularly reviews material issues in human rights matrix, and has made improvements based on mitigation and remedial measures in response to relevant incidents. In order to strengthen employees' awareness of human rights risks, the company has launched education and training programs, used various channels to communicate with employees and plan future improvement plan.
