SinoPac Holdings Publishes 2025 Climate and Nature-Related Financial Disclosures Report, Achieves Highest TNFD Maturity Ratin

2026-07-09

SinoPac Holdings has officially published its 2025 Climate and Nature-Related Financial Disclosures Report, continuing to align with the frameworks of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). The report discloses the Group's climate- and nature-related risks, opportunities, and management approach across four pillars: Governance, Strategy, Risk Management, and Metrics and Targets.

The report was independently verified by the British Standards Institution (BSI). SinoPac Holdings has received the highest recognition, Level 5 Plus: Excellence, under the Climate-related Financial Disclosure Maturity Model for four consecutive years from 2022 to 2025. In addition, the Group achieved Level 5: Excellence, the highest rating under the Nature-related Financial Disclosure Maturity Model, in its first-ever TNFD verification. This achievement reflects SinoPac Holdings' continued efforts to strengthen climate- and nature-related risk management and enhance disclosure quality.

As the impacts of climate change and natural capital loss on the global economy and financial system continue to intensify, climate- and nature-related issues have become increasingly important considerations for businesses and financial institutions worldwide. The World Economic Forum (WEF) has identified extreme weather events, biodiversity loss, and ecosystem collapse among the most significant long-term global risks, highlighting how climate and nature issues are increasingly influencing business operations and financial stability.

Against this backdrop, SinoPac Holdings continues to strengthen its climate and nature risk management framework by incorporating related issues into its enterprise-wide risk management system. Through a systematic approach, the Group assesses the interactions between its operations, supply chain, and financing and investment portfolios and nature, identifies its dependencies and impacts on natural capital, and evaluates exposures to nature-sensitive sectors and related risks.

In 2025, SinoPac Holdings officially became a TNFD Forum Member and Adopter and joined the Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF) as a Supporter, demonstrating its commitment to enhancing natural capital disclosure and sustainable development. The TNFD framework helps organizations identify, assess, and disclose their nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities, while PBAF provides methodologies for measuring biodiversity-related impacts associated with financing and investment activities.

Beyond risk management and disclosure, SinoPac Holdings continues to extend its commitment to nature conservation through community engagement and environmental initiatives. The Group has collaborated with conservation organizations to promote cetacean conservation and marine research programs, while encouraging employee volunteers to participate in activities including the restoration of protected native species and marine debris clean-up efforts. Through these initiatives, SinoPac Holdings seeks to enhance public awareness of marine conservation and advance its commitment to a Sustainable Ocean.

These efforts reflect the Group's strong commitment to natural capital protection and biodiversity conservation while reinforcing its leadership in nature-related disclosure and sustainable finance.

Looking ahead, SinoPac Holdings will continue to enhance the integration and quantification of climate- and nature-related risk management, further improve disclosure quality, and work closely with stakeholders to advance the low-carbon transition and natural capital conservation. Through its financial influence, the Group will continue to direct capital toward activities that generate sustainable value and fulfill its vision of "Transforming Finance, Creating a Better Life."
