2026-05-27

SinoPac Holdings was ranked among the top 5% of listed companies in the 12th Corporate Governance Evaluation (2025) jointly organized by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx). Ms. Shi-Kuan Chen, Chairman of SinoPac Holdings, attended the award ceremony on June 26 to accept the award. This recognition underscores the Group's long-standing commitment to strengthening its corporate governance framework and continuously enhancing governance quality.

The Corporate Governance Evaluation assesses companies across four key dimensions: protecting shareholders' rights and ensuring equitable treatment of shareholders; strengthening board structure and operations; enhancing information transparency; and promoting sustainable development. A total of 70 evaluation indicators were applied this year, with 1,810 listed and OTC-listed companies participating in the assessment. SinoPac Holdings distinguished itself among a highly competitive field to earn a place among the top 5% of listed companies.

SinoPac Holdings has long been committed to advancing corporate governance and embedding sustainable management as a core business principle. The Group has cultivated a strong governance culture through initiatives such as the voluntary establishment of a Board-level Management Committee and Sustainability Development Committee. The Integrity Management Committee is responsible for formulating integrity management policies and preventive measures, as well as overseeing their implementation.

Through its Sustainability Development Committee, SinoPac Holdings became the first financial holding company in Taiwan to establish both a Chief Sustainability Officer and a dedicated Sustainability Office at the Board level. Under the Board's oversight, the Group actively manages environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues related to its operations and drives the implementation of its sustainability strategy. In addition, SinoPac Holdings continues to enhance board diversity, including increasing the proportion of female directors, thereby further strengthening board effectiveness and governance practices.

In addition to its outstanding performance in domestic evaluations, SinoPac Holdings has also received widespread international recognition for its sustainability achievements. The Group has been continuously selected as a constituent of both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class World Index (DJBIC World Index) and the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Emerging Markets Index (DJBIC Emerging Markets Index). It also achieved the highest rating of Leadership Level A in the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire, was named among the Top 5% of companies in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, and maintained an AAA rating—the highest level awarded by MSCI ESG Ratings. These accomplishments underscore SinoPac Holdings' resilience in sustainability governance and its forward-looking strategic approach to long-term value creation.
