Sinopac Holdings Wins HR Asia's Best Companies to Work for in Asia Gold Award for the Fifth Consecutive Year

SinoPac Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SinoPac Holdings) has once again demonstrated its excellence in creating a positive workplace environment by winning the prestigious Gold Award in the 2024 Taiwan "Best Companies to Work for in Asia" awards, organized by the renowned human resources magazine, HR Asia. Despite fierce competition, SinoPac Holdings has secured this honor for the fifth consecutive year, making it one of only 14 companies in Taiwan to receive this accolade. This year, HR Asia recognized 92 outstanding companies that excel in fostering a vibrant and diverse work culture.

The "Best Companies to Work for in Asia" award by HR Asia is the largest employer branding award in the Asia-Pacific region, covering 15 regions. A total of 368 companies were nominated for the 2024 Taiwan Best Companies to Work for in Asia award. This year's theme, "The Definitive Z Choice," reflects the challenges and opportunities brought by the influx of Generation Z or Zoomers into the workplace, creating a multi-generational workplace ecosystem. The winning companies not only excel in recruiting and retaining young talent but also set industry benchmarks in creating a work culture that values diversity, collaboration, and continuous innovation.

SinoPac Holdings stated that when Generation Z faces employment choices, a company's commitment to sustainability is also a consideration. SinoPac has established a comprehensive Sustainability Literacy Development Framework (TURN) for all employees, allowing each employee to cultivate sustainability literacy through four main categories: "Train for awareness, Upgrade professional skills, Raise talent mechanisms, and Native practice actions." This includes having all employees sign sustainability-related codes of conduct for alignment, enhancing awareness through diverse internal and external courses, forums, and training, and practicing sustainability in corporate operations, diverse and friendly workplaces, and employee sustainable behaviors.

In terms of talent development, SinoPac Holdings strengthens industry-academia cooperation to reduce the gap between education and employment, promotes strategic talent programs to attract outstanding talent, and internally advances corporate university curriculum systems. The "Professional Competency" program has established 17 categories with a total of 80 courses, with average training hours growing to 71 hours per person per year. The "Management Training" program offers on-the-job and reserve training plans for supervisors at all levels. The annual "Employee of the Year Award” selection event celebrates outstanding employees based on the core values of " Passion, Curiosity, Accountability, Open-Mindedness, and Innovation " motivating and retaining talent. Employee satisfaction surveys in the past two years have consistently exceeded 90%, indicating strong employee recognition of various policies.

SinoPac Holdings stated that winning this award represents significant recognition of SinoPac' Holdings' sustainability practices, healthy workplace, diversity and inclusion, and talent development.
