S&P Global conducts an annual review of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and announces the results each September. However, it has been deferred to November in the past two years due to the pandemic. Since the fourth quarter of 2021, the DJSI also introduced a mid-term review system. SinoPac Holdings has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index (DJSI Emerging Markets) since November 2021 and the DJSI World after the mid-term review in March 2022.

In addition, S&P Global publishes a Sustainability Yearbook every year and includes companies ranked in the top 15% of the industry by their ESG rating scores. In 2021, 716 out of 7,554 evaluated companies were included in the Sustainability Yearbook 2022, and SinoPac Holdings ranked in the top 1% to 5%, winning the Silver Class Award. Among the banking industry, there were only 36 banks selected.

SinoPac Holdings considers this an honor and regards it as a greater responsibility. On the road of continuous progress, especially in the face of risks and uncertainties brought by climate change, SinoPac Holdings will continue to promote various green financial businesses and strengthen risk management. SinoPac Holdings will take concrete actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
